Here's some more of your letters mates!

Dear Steve, I followed a reference via Comics UK and am greatly impressed, you've done a great job. The best bit so far is your section 'Action - A Personal Account', it puts the whole thing into perspective. I wonder if there is a newspaper archive where you can get the articles from the Newspapers of the time, it would make an interesting addition ( being in Australia I can't check up myself but we do have Newspaper archives at libraries ). Also, in his book, Martin Barker speaks of additional unpublished artwork, some of which was not lettered. Any chance the good man still has it and could pass this on to you?

Rod

Steve says: Cheers Rod, a few people commented that they liked the personal bit, I debated putting it up, but I'm glad I did now. As to the newspaper bits, the thought crossed my mind, and I'm looking into it, but no joy so far. Not sure if Martin possesses the unlettered art, I think that may remain in the IPC archives. He does have a few bits and bobs that are of personal value to him, which he doesn't trust to any mail delivery system, and he's promised to let me view them, but as he's tied up with his research project at the moment, and I'm tied up with the baby due, it may take a while. More as soon as.

Dear Steve,

Can't resist adding my own congratulations on a top notch site. I'm the proud owner of Mr Barker's excellent treatise on Action, but it is of course all in B&W - so it's been great to see Hook Jaw in colour once again after all these years. I'll check back often. Thanks, Paul

Steve says: Thanks Paul. As things progress, I'll try to put the 'Paradise Island' story online as well. Unfortunately Ramon Sola was replaced after only a few issues of that story, and his successor was a poor substitute, but the death of Rick Mason is worth the effort...
