Dear Steve,

Is there really no chance at all that some of the missing Death Game episodes might surface from untapped sources? (Hey, a man can hope, can't he?)

Andreas Stavros

Steve says: It's a very long shot. The remaining original pages by Belardinelli were all chopped up for the first post ban issue. there are no bromides of the uncut pages, Tom Tully's scripts were all disposed of in the usual manner, and even the cut 'n' paste pages were binned a while ago. Rufus Dayglo retrieved a few of the Belardinelli pages from a skip at Fleetway when they were clearing out the archives, and I'm waiting to see what he has, but I believe the stuff he saved was just the chopped up pages, and no originals survive. welcome to the world of IPC/Fleetway, where comics and history count for nothing.

Dear Steve,

Just a quick note to say thanks for the site - it's exceptional in depth and breadth. I used to be an avid comic reader back in the 70s and early 80s, although my favourite was Action. Most comics sites don't seem to go into detail as much as yours when it comes to Action and the reproduction of the strips themselves takes me back to long summers, flares and the race every Saturday to get to my Nan's as she bought all my comics back then. Absolutely fantastic - and about time too! Ian Durman

Steve says: Happy memories! We try to put as much as we can into the site. It'll only be complete when everything there is to say about Action has been said.
