After escaping from a terrorist gang who have tried to kill him, Dredger rides 200 miles whilst forcibly drunk, to save the life of the Japanese Foreign Minister, who is under threat of assassination. Arriving in London at the appointed time of the hit, Dredger realises he has been set up by the terrorists, and he is in fact the assassin. In the nick of time he vomits up the bomb they planted in him and returns it to its originator in a novel fashion, causing death and destruction. |  | Green's Grudge War
In the first episode we are introduced to Private Green and Guardsman Bold as they begin their campaign to join the Green Berets. From the off Green takes a disliking to 'bighead' Bold and this is reinforced when his comrades fail to see him save Bold's life. Instead they applaud Bold for saving Green. Green decides to stitch Bold up on their first mission by stealing the climbing rope Bold will use to reach their objective. Unfortunately Bold ascends the cliffs a different way, arriving first and taking all the glory, much to Green's disgust. |  | Hellman of the Afrika Korps
Hammer force are in Libya, trying to flush the Desert Rats out of Habruk. They are defeated by a platoon of Anzacs although Hellman manages to save some of his Panzers. Kastner orders Hellman to attend a birthday party in honour of Hitler, but leaves his batman lurking in the shadows, dressed in Hellman's uniform. The major has taken off across the desert to defeat the Anzacs by stealth. |  | Blackjack
On receipt of Solly's finger, Yank and Jack find a note inside Solly's ring. The note tells Jack to 'Give the blighter one on the nose from me'. Jack works out how the message to kill Solly will be passed and, having given Fairman a pasting, intercepts the messengers with his fists. They get an address and race to save Solly. Yancy and his cronies are arrested and Solly lives to give the victory sign another day. |  | Hook Jaw
McNally duels to the death with Hook Jaw, who first takes McNally's leg and then his life. Elsewhere Mason is rescued by a passing plane who rush him away to get his injuries tended to, leaving McNally to his fate. McNally goes out with a bang, exploding off the page, but not before he has left a harpoon in the Great White that will remain there until the story ends. |  | Play Till You Drop!
Alec sets Grice up with help from a reporter for the Daily Messenger. The truth about Tom Shaw emerges, he did take a bribe, but only as part of a police operation to expose a corrupt bookmaker. In the championship deciding match against Farborough, Grice, free from custody, takes a gun and shoots at Alec, missing by inches. The police take Grice away and Alec clinches the match, the title and the £5,000 prize, happy that he can play football for the love of the game once more. |  | Sport's Not For Losers
Bolt punishes Len for his humiliation and manages to break Len's spirit. The other borstal inmates have had enough and throw manure at Bolt, taking him down to the Gym for a dose of his own medicine. Dan and Len leave for London, but Len is subdued which worries Dan. He arranges a fight at the pre-event party with the help of Beanpole Barnes and soon Len is back to his old ways. |  | The Running Man
Carter fights a last stand against the Satanists in the town jail. Against overwhelming odds, Mike's cunning wins the day. Bronsan is captured and Tex, the sheriff, is saved. As the forces of law and order descend on the town, Mike is once again forced to run. | |
