Dredger
Dredger and Breed travel to a US political rally where, on the instructions of the President's Office, Dredger shoots Governor Bean, then throws the murder weapon to an unsuspecting bystander, who is turned on by the mob. They are tailed out of the building, and shoot two men following them, who are CIA agents. As the men lie dying, Dredger finds out that their orders were not from the President at all, but an aide called Al Lansdown who wants the governorship for himself. Dredger finds Lansdown at a private dinner and skewers him with a flagpole. As they reach the hospital Bean was taken to, the governor is alive and well, having helped Dredger flush out the mole. Breed is shocked, as he has killed a CIA man who was just doing his duty. Dredger offers Breed $500 to buy a gravestone out of the money he's made on the side in this job.
