For his final stunt, Action Man goes dry skiing at Alexandra Palace.

Although Hellman repeatedly refers to his Panther tanks, the new artist this issue draws a division of Tiger Mk. IIIs for this and the next few weeks.

Dredger
Obisfelde Checkpoint, East Germany. Dredger and Breed are hanging by their necks, awaiting their fates. The previous night Dredger had stolen a dossier on D.I.6. from GEPO headquarters. Escaping, they had stolen a gun from a policeman, followed by military uniforms from two men on a motorcycle and sidecar. Breed refused to shoot the passenger in cold blood, and it is he who has turned them in. Steiner, the checkpoint Major, opens the dossier, which explodes, killing him and snapping the ropes. Dredger makes short work of the other guards. Breed finds out that the cop has been tailing them with the real dossier. He is also unaware that Dredger had made a switch with the cop and that the two of them were now acting as decoys.
Green's Grudge War
One day...Green and Bold are in even hotter water than usual, as another mission goes pear-shaped for them. Raiding submarine pens in France, they are pinned down by Panzers. Green uses Bold as an unwitting decoy to draw fire from a machine gun nest, then heads off to get petrol to pour down onto the panzers from above. Unfortunately, he hasn't got a match to light it with. Thomson, a mortar man with the unit, destroys all the tanks with a single shot, much to everyone's surprise. With the way clear, the submarines are soon sunk, and Thomson is awarded a medal for saving the mission. Green moans that it should have been him, and Bold laughs about Green's lack of matches, saying he can't take a joke. Green sets fire to Bold's kitbag.
Hellman of Hammer Force
Hellman faces treachery from both sides as he rolls into battle with the SS at his back. Sure enough, the SS tanks do not engage the enemy, leaving the major without support. Suddenly the Russians withdraw, and Hammer Force are free to take the village ahead. The SS decide to beat them to it and dash for the village to claim the victory. Suspicious of the sudden retreat, Hellman spies two Russians running from the rooftops, which makes him certain that some thing is wrong. Spotting a drum of red paint, he heads for the roof where he finds a giant Russian Star painted on the tiles. The radio is being jammed and a squadron of Stukas, called in by the SS, cannot be stood down. The squadron bomb the village. The SS flee, but Hellman stays put, ordering his men to cover themselves in red paint and play dead. The Russians fall for the major's ploy and Hammer Force triumph, to the disgust of the SS.
Blackjack
Solly is still leaving the US, even though he decided to go several weeks ago. Yank tells Solly he'll stick around to see if he can help, just in case Solly has forgotten, as it's been so long. Meanwhile Perelli is still chasing Jack, and the NYPD are wondering if there's a link between a 'blind limey boxer' seen at the scene of a few crimes, and 'blind limey boxer' Jack Barron. They intend to narrow down their list of suspects by bringing Jack in for questioning, in case there's a connection. Meanwhile Rock Star Gary Astral is helping Jack to find Cab Ralston and the stolen money. Ralston's aftershave gives him away, but he still manages to get a call in to Perelli who happens to have men about ten seconds away even though Jack is in Las Vegas. The police arrive mid-gunfight and arrest Jack.
Hook Jaw
Mason tries to bring Vosper ashore aboard his shark, but Vosper lets go. Mason then attempts to lure Hook Jaw away, but the great white smashes the mechanical fish, and the flailing propeller hits Vosper. Mason then dives in to save him, but Hook Jaw soon has Vosper's legs off, then lunches on the rest of him. Sharkie detonates the explosives allowing Mason to escape, but Hook Jaw is only stunned. Mason is stunned too when he finds out Gelder's only concern is bad publicity.
Look Out For Lefty!
Gramps turns out to be drunk on home-brewed potato wine, and has fallen and cut his head. Lefty's Aunty Betty arrives to look after the shop, leaving Lefty free to head off to school for nearly the last time. Five days to freedom, the staff versus pupils football match is taking place. Gosling cheats and continually fouls Lefty, and the other teachers are no better. Lefty is given a free kick after a vicious foul from Gosling who was 'aiming at the ball'. Lefty deliberately slices the ball into Gosling's nether regions whilst 'aiming at the goal'. Gosling retires hurt, leaving Lefty to score ten of the twelve goals. With school over, Lefty begins his chores as an apprentice footballer, cleaning the showers and checking the kit of the senior players.
Death Game 1999
The guards shoot the prisoners with incendiary bullets as the riot intensifies. Smailes calls in an army riot squad. Meanwhile Rico is bathing in a muddy puddle when Joe finds him. Rico begins hurling rocks, but Joe smashes his remaining arm with a sledgehammer, knocking Rico over a ledge into the swamp. The weight of metal in Rico's body drags him down to his doom. Back inside, the riot squad arrive and the prisoners prepare a last stand. Taggart jumps between the two sides and calls a halt, showing them Rico's severed arm. Peace is restored, but at a price. Joe, Yo-Yo and Meatface Malone are the only survivors from the spinball squad.
Hell's Highway
Late night at Acme Transcontinental Trucking, Danny and Steve are introduced to their new rig, as Hartwell rams it through their old one. Having trashed so many trucks, they are finally getting a top of the line one, with a hidden arms store, reinforced bumpers and a few secret hatches. Mayer hands them some cigarette case pocket radios. The friends are then sent to Alaska to meet Coulson, who is posing as a geologist whilst monitoring for Soviet agents sneaking in across the Bering Strait. On arrival, they find Coulson dead, and decide to report his murder, but the local Sheriff appears to be in on it, and although Danny makes his escape, Steve is captured.
