Dredger
The severed head of an assistant to the British Foreign Secretary is mailed to Whitehall, warning him to stay away from an oil conference in Brussels. Dredger and Breed are sent to guard him, but are ordered to be discreet. The Foreign Secretary takes exception to Dredger straight away, as the agent beats up a press reporter before they have even left the airport. Dredger suspects the reporter is a fake and confiscates a pen that was being proffered to the Foreign Secretary. The Foreign Secretary is not interested in excuses, and considers Dredger's actions ungentlemanly. Next day, Dredger shoots a would be assassin climbing up the outside of their hotel. On the roof, Breed has been shot by an accomplice, so Dredger races to the Foreign Secretary's room just as a maid arrives. The Foreign Secretary is shocked to see Dredger harassing a woman, but the maid pulls a gun and grabs the politician. Dredger uses a jet of poison from the pen he took the day before and the 'maid' drops dead. It is the man from the airport in disguise. The Foreign Secretary is left looking a fool as Dredger delivers some sage advice.
Probationer
Dave hides from the police, then makes a break for it as soon as he gets the chance. The next day he finds out the officer who was shot received only minor injuries. He decides to confront Slater at the local dog track, and punches the villain to the floor. Gloria pulls out a metal comb and stabs Dave in the back. Slater gives Dave a kicking, then tells him to help out stealing car stereos. As Slater forces the window of a car, the owner returns and grabs him, dragging him away to the police. Dave thinks he is finally free.
Hellman on the Russian Front
Hellman is under fire from a thousand Katushya Death Rockets and his own men. His four crewmen deal the Major into their card game, but Schwarz loses his cool when Hellman keeps winning. The missile barrage ceases, warning Hellman that a ground assault must soon follow. Hammer Force defend with everything they have, but the King Tiger will not fire. Schwarz is ordered to clear and repair the breech but instead he tries to run. Hellman holds him with a bayonet and soon the Tiger is alive, finishing off the Russian assault. Hellman receives word that his men will be able to break cover the following day. As night falls, Schwarz offers to deal Hellman into another card game. The Major is wary but accepts. He turns over the Ace of Spades, the death card, just as Schwarz plunges a bayonet into his back.
Kids Rule O.K.
Ray removes the threatening biker by throwing an empty shot gun at him. With the biker off guard, the rest of the gang batter him with a table, causing him to fall from the ladder onto a car. They drag a second biker called Bert up through the window. Soon after, Bert is raining down on his mates from above. Buck's gang torch the ground floor of the school. Ray instructs the girls to stand by the window screaming as a diversion, whilst the rest of the gang make an escape across the roof tops. Finally only Ray and Roker remain, but as they climb over the flames between the buildings, Roker kicks Ray off the ladder, then pulls a knife and begins to slice off Ray's fingers.
Hook Jaw
Gunn vows to recover the bullion from the wreck. Meanwhile Hook Jaw is dining on the dead bodies left in the hull. He is set upon by a school of conger eel, but makes short work of them. Above, an RAF Nimrod has spotted the wreck, and marks it for a team from Special Branch. Gunn's gang see it fly away from a boat they have stolen. They move the marker away and are soon diving to retrieve the gold. As they loosen the hatch to the cargo hold, Hook Jaw bursts through.
Look Out For Lefty!
Lefty is under attack from the Rotherfield players and their fans, the Rippers. Having received a brutal foul, he just manages to avoid a bottle thrown at him whilst he is still on the ground. Lefty's temper gets the better of him, and he is about to throw it back when a team mate stops him. Lefty gets on with the game, and comes close to a few goals. His best chance is ruined when another Ripper throws a lighted firework at him. Mike Roberts runs on to treat Lefty, who tries to conceal his earlier run in with the Rippers. It's no use, Jim Bowker is already wise and plans to take Lefty off. At half-time, Jim prepares to tell Lefty, but the Rippers set fire to a kiosk in the stands which needs his attention. Lefty has a word with Mike, who sends him on again, against the boss's wishes. Mike feels that with the police on alert, there will be no more trouble, but the Rippers have moved to the other end of the ground, and are waiting for Lefty.
Death Game 1999
Yo-Yo and the team subdue the lunatics and save Joe, but not without earning the wrath of the guards. Taggart makes his way to the infirmary, but has second thoughts about being treated by any of the prison staff. His team-mates patch him up and two days later he is fit to return to training. Smailes has a surprise in store for the team. Kruger has 'adjusted' the multi-cannon, which begins firing spinballs like a machine gun, before it explodes. Joe's instincts save him and Yo-Yo, but the team are down to only six men, and no substitutes, for the final match against the Alcatraz Assassins. Smailes suggests a seventh man for the squad...Kruger.
Hell's Highway
Danny and Steve decide to break into Hartwell's office and steal the photographs used to frame them. Hartwell and Mayer are not as stupid as the two truckers, and catch them in the act. They are soon briefed on their next mission. The government take in Cuban refugees and train them in guerrilla tactics, then ship them back to Cuba to sabotage Castro's activities. The truckers orders say they are carrying electrical goods, but Steve and Danny soon meet the surprisingly old men they have to transport to Florida. Another truck arrives, and the men inside know about the true cargo. Steve is able to return the grenade they throw at him, and the other truck is destroyed, but soon their own rig is stolen with the Cubans still on board. Steve calls Hartwell, who tells them to drop it. The plans have changed and Castro is now a potential ally, so he's happy to let the Cubans die. The friends decide to go against Hartwell, and make plans for a rescue.
